A search engine inspired by Digg is likely to become a Top Player

I have recently criticized a number of different search engines including Spock, Sk*rt, , FilesTube, etc. Finally I cam across something interesting which I would define as a of and .

It is called Sproose, which is obviously a name that fits the 2.0 style and it’s a search engine that I bet will become more and more popular.

Basically you write down what you are looking for and a window with votes comes up in a second. You will easily recognize that the screen is somehow similar to the one used by . What is different, and is probably going to be changed, is that you don’t need to log in to vote, which means is not very reliable yet.

I see this project has potential because it allows users to interact with the founders by choosing the best content. Users are proactive, which means they don’t want to watch TV again, but they want to create content.

Spoose provides a good project, but it’s annoying that so far few people have tried it out. It takes time probably, and it’s a matter of viral for sure.

My forecast is that Spoose will be able to attract more users that most search engines (apart from , yahoo) within a year.

If I had to give a grade I would give 8/10, which is pretty high if you consider grades we have given on businesshackers so far.

Two factors will be vital: time and .

I will never stop saying that: no matter how good your is, you always need to have an appropriate campaign.
