Rarely can we see startups that combine internet technology and medicine. This is exactly the case of SugarStats, a startup that has been slightly modified and relaunched today. SugarStats was created by a 24 years old engineer, who suffers from diabetes.

Basically it’s a web-based system to record and analyze glucose levels and medication usage, food/carb intake, and exercise and activity levels, information that can be vital in controlling the disease. The core of this application was designed to be free, making it internet-accessible to as many people as possible.
