This is sth you can find on the : “Ivád village representatives have decided that all (eight) streets will be renamed. It can be your ancestor, acquaintance, relative or a friend to be named after. The street cannot be named after people who are still alive (so if you decide on your name, after your death it will be renamed according to a contract drawn up legally.)”.
Ivad is a village in Hungary, that I am sure will have a budget surplus soon :)

Let’s read about the details: “On the application you have to indicate which street you want named. (map and further information available on www.ivad.hu)
The decision of the application will be made by the representatives of the village committee according to the law 1990. year LXV. Tv 10. §. (1) h, )
The village of Ivád will guarantee that the street name will not change for 300 years.
The committee will decide on all applications in order of arrival. If your application has been accepted you will have to deposit the within two weeks in the village account, and the following week the name change will take place or at a time suitable to you. From the raised we plan to build sewage, upgrade the street lighting, nursery school, public road resurfacing and ancient tourist place”.

Sounds funny, but those people treat it seriously… time will tell…
