Internet connection on planes… Alaska Airlines is currently the leader…

According to TechNewsWorld a revolution is taking place as far as on planes is concerned:

“Alaska Airlines said Tuesday it will be the first U.S. carrier to test a satellite-based in-flight wireless service next year and may equip its entire fleet. There have been several moves across the industry to offer passengers access while they’re traveling. Seattle-based Alaska plans to install Westlake Village, Calif.-based Row 44’s broadband service on one Boeing 737 jet next spring. Row 44’s system is designed to work over water and across international borders”.

What I am thinking of is we there is still no on planes. It seems so simple to do that, but companies seem to be reluctant to invest in it. With millions of businessmen travelling everyday, I see potential.

I don’t know if it should be free, but it seems that airlines should hurry up to catch up with .

In my opinion tickets should become free and new income sources should be invented. A possible solution could be to make people buy products if they want to take a plane. Sales would increase dramatically and people will be motivated. That’s however just an idea.
