We have recently talked to Gonzalo Arzuaga, a friend of businesshackers.com and founder of a nice website called KillerStartups.

 1. Gonzalo what is your website about?

It’s about . We 30+ per workday, and that keeps us really busy. The idea is for people interested in the of the , to check out killerstartups.com often during the day to see what’s new, and what might be hot. We want our community to be able to spot the “next “.

 2. What’s your model?

 Mainly advertising via sponsorships.

 3. Why did you start this project?

 To give the community an idea of what others think about new .

 4. What’s your background?

 Mainly and . And for the last 10 years, and .

 5. How do you plan to build a community of users and what are your plans for the future?

 Basically we believe if we create unique, fresh and attractive content, the word of mouth will do its work. In the 4 months time we’ve been online, the response has been really good.

 6. Have you entered into any partnerships with other companies?

 We’re mainly doing content licensing with reputable and high traffic sites that are interested in offering our content to their readers.

 7. Are you funded?

 Yes, $100K.

 8. What was the process for you to raise capital?

 I showed i could execute the plan very well, so somebody i knew for the last 5 years decided to jump on board investing $100K.

 9. What does the future look like for companies like the one you are running?

 It looks very bright.

 10. Why makes your company special?

 We came up with the idea of creating + , and so far we’re happy with the results.

    It’s just a directory. There are too many startups without any selection. I would rather read about few projects that can compete with skype, yahoo, etc.
