Mailemotion.tv is a free, easy and intuitive service designed for all, accessible from anywhere on the (www.mailemotion.tv), with no software installation required. The service is now in its “beta” release after a first 3 months test period conducted with a few thousands users all around 90 different countries in the world.

Mailemotion.tv was conceived to be used by anyone, with absolutely no technical knowledge required. Thanks to Mailemotion an user is able to create and send a video email to his friends, colleagues or family from scratch in less than a minute, following 4 easy steps.

A user has two ways to create such a message:

* using his Webcam in order to make a quick and spontaneous message ;
* using a video file that is stored on his hard disk ;

Mailemotion takes care of every technical aspects including video treatment and hosting. For instance, any kind of video file can be used as a source since it will be automatically converted into a universal format compatible with the video mail addressees.

Today’s beta version which is available in 6 different languages displays top-of-the-range video quality and a new “Sent box” functionality close to a traditional Webmail service except that it includes full multimedia support. Mailemotion could be considered as a Webmail 2.0 reconciling email and Multi-media communication.

Above all, Mailemotion.tv is a free service and will be regularly improved with new features thought to ease it’s users life and allow them to shares their emotions with video.

    What about: http://www.nch.com.au/vemail/ ? Which one is better? Is there any difference between them?

    I would stick to the one described in the article… it looks much more professional…
