New Yahoo Universal Search has arrived, but no reason to use it

Big news, again, and we get disappointed again. Yahoo has launched a new way of searching things on the internet. To my knowledge at least 7 other search engines have already adopted a similar feature to allow users to have suggestions written as they type keywords.

What I can’t really figure out is why people are so excited about it.

Yahoo search engine has been popular for a long time, but I don’t think those guys will stay competitive.I have been recently involved in M&A transactions that required to find specific data. Frankly speaking I have decided not to use Yahoo Finance, and switch to Google Finance. First of all it seems that Yahoo is always one step behind Google. Second, Google is still much more user friendly and it seems to be willing to cover all sorts of activities. Finally, the Yahoo search engine doesn’t provide good enough results.
