Alfred Toh has recently told us about a new project called PayScroll.com, which is an online career site based on Ruby on Rails and 2.0 technologies.

What is this about?
PayScroll.com, an online Career 2.0 company is committed to empowering job seekers with a one-stop career site featuring powerful career tools such as a salary search tool, a job search tool and a networking platform that will help users make better educated decisions in the pursuit of their dream job.

What makes this special?
PayScroll wants to help our user find that dream job by providing free career tools and information that is closely inter-related. At launch, we have three main features that our users can make full use of - Salary Research, Job Search and Career QnA. All these features tie in to provide a one-stop resource to our users in their career development and planning.

In addition, each registered user gets a profile page allowing them to show off their skillset by adding skill tags. They can rank their skills and this profile page offers an additional online identity that potential employers can weight on.

What is the objective of the founders?
Our objective is to help people find their dream job. The job search is not really just finding one. We feel it consists closely related steps such as finding out the salary information of the job segment that the person is interested in while searching for jobs. Along the way, many people will have questions but where do they go to find answers? We hope to provide an active Career QnA community so that users can post questions and get answers.

Does this need an investor? - Maybe, not 100% sure

@sam, I’m sorry to hear that you are having problems with the job search listings. We will investigate and find out any possible issues. We do have testers that QA the site before each release cycle, but being a new startup, there’s always limited resources so we appreciate for your feedback.
