profilefly-logo.png 2.0 is changing the environment in which users interact, and as a result of this profitable opportunities are presenting themselves to build new services. ProfileFly.com is a currently operating website that was founded as a direct result of new market needs. The average user is beginning to accumulate several Profiles as a result of the Network Niche Frenzy.

The site provides the user the ability aggregate links and listings to their many Profiles, Contacts, and in one location. While has proven a successful concept on the already, ProfileFly is a pioneer in the field of “ ” or “Profile Aggregation”. or Profile Aggregation allows a user to unify their entire online identity. This online identity could several links to:

• Profiles
• Blogs
• Photo Sites
• Dating Sites
• Professional Networking Communities
• Email & Instant Messengers
• Bookmark Links/Favorites

The site immediately gained traction when launched in April of 2007, building respectable traffic numbers, and a community of over 900 members and growing in its first month of operation. The site currently has a Page Rank of 3, and an Alexa ranking of approximately 500,000. ProfileFly had already been reviewed and mentioned several times on top industry blogs including Mashable.comand LifeHacker (industry leaders), and has begun to grow virally in several countries including many countries in Europe, Asia, and even the Middle East.

ProfileFly’s approach is unique because it appeals to the hipper younger demographic of multiple Network users. This group is fervently growing as demonstrated by the rise of Myspace, Facebook, Flicker, Match, LinkedIn, and .

The user experience for someone interested in ProfileFly’s services is:

• Visit the Homepage, or user’s page to learn more about the site
• Sign up for the site in a quick 2 step process
• Edit the new Profile to include Picture, Bio Information, Personalized URL
• Use the Link Wizard to add Profiles + Contacts +
• Add friends from the site to begin pulling in their Bookmark Stream
• Paste personalized Banners from our site, or link to the new ProfileFly URL in other Networks etc. (viral activity)
• Update your Profile as you incur new Networks etc.

The benefits for a user having links to all of their information in one aggregated location are important to understand. First, it allows a user to link to one place (ProfileFly) in all their other profiles, and steer traffic to all the various elements of their Online Identity. Chances are if someone is interested in someone’s Myspace, they might be interested in reading their Blog, joining their Network on LinkedIn, or checking out their Photos on Flickr. The second is that it is wonderful means of self-promotion, both by creating an easy vehicle to broadcast your digital life, and by virtue of the fact that your ProfileFly account often rise to the top of search on names.

Thanks for doing a great overview. Will check it out and most likely get involved. If it can bring everything together it will no doubt be a winner.
